SYDNEY, 20 March 2026 — Greenpeace Australia Pacific has slammed the Federal Authorities’s determination to approve an enormous fuel enlargement in Queensland, saying the choice prioritises company superprofits over our communities and local weather. 

The approval permits Australia Pacific LNG (APLNG), a three way partnership between Origin Vitality and multinational giants ConocoPhillips and Sinopec, to drill 1,695 new fuel wells till 2081.
