Pirates have signed 10 playersReleased twoSet to offload Mosele and Tshobeni to Chippa

Orlando Pirates have announced a number of incomings just this week as they enter their pre-season training.

Pirates are set to go back to Spain for the third time in a row this month for their preparations.

Pirates have signed 10 players

So far during this transfer window Pirates have signed 10 players, with nine of those being officially announced. The first of these signings to be announced was the shock deal for playmaker Sipho Mbule. The player joins the Buccaneers as a free agent after being released by Mamelodi Sundowns.

Pirates went on to announce seven other players last week in Masindi Nemtajela, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli, Tshepang Moremi, Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Yanela Mbuthuma. They then dropped another bombshell by announcing the signing of Oswin Appollis from Polokwane City. In doing so, beating arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs to the signature of the Bafana Bafana international.

Released two

Now with those incomings, it is expected that the outgoings will subsequently follow. Already the duo of Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane have left the club. Now it looks like two other players are set to leave on loan. According to iDiski Times, Chippa United are set to sign Pirates duo Goodman Mosele and Azola Tshobeni on loan.

“Chippa United are edging closer to completing the signing of Goodman Mosele and Azola Tshobeni on loan from Orlando Pirates. iDiski Times can exclusively report that Chippa have reached an agreement with Pirates to sign Tshobeni and Mosele on loan for the upcoming campaign. The duo is expected to join the Chili Boys in the coming days to start the pre-season under the leadership of Sinethemba Badela.” Wrote the publication.

Set to offload Mosele and Tshobeni to Chippa

Chippa will no doubt be boosted by the signings of Mosele and Tshobeni ahead of the new season. Pirates on the other hand, will also be happy to free up space having already bolstered their midfield.
