A look into Days of Our Lives iconic Victor Kiriakis‘ (John Aniston) and all his children. Because Titan Industries is unstable and it’s being targeted. We’re going to dig into who all has a possible stake in this because they are heirs of the Kiriakis patriarch.
Right now, we’ve got Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) running Titan, but other of Victor’s kids could return looking for a slice of the pie.
Isabella Toscano – Victor Kiriakis’ Firstborn Daughter and Titan Industries’ Inspiration
Victor’s firstborn child is his one and only daughter, Isabella Toscano (Staci Greason). She came into her dad Victor’s life as an adult in her 20s in the late 1980s on Days of Our Lives. Isabella was the daughter of Loretta Toscano, and she thought that bad guy Ernesto Toscano was her dad.
Isabella was introduced as an inmate at an asylum, but Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) saved her from her fate. Pages from Isabella’s mom’s diary revealed that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was, in fact, her real dad. Isabella then fell in love with John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
This is back when people thought he was Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). This was also around the time Isabella’s dad, Victor, had brought John to Salem as “the pawn.” Isabella wound up pregnant and married John. Their son is Victor’s grandson, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Isabella tragically died of pancreatic cancer after Brady was born. Losing Isabella inspired Victor to try and go legit, leading him to launch Titan Industries. Isabella was on Days of Our Lives briefly from 1989 to 1992.
Bo Brady – Victor Kiriakis’ Rebellious Son and His Tumultuous Legacy
Victor’s second-born child is his oldest son, Beauregard Aurelius Brady (Peter Reckell), also known as Bo Brady. He was born in 1963 to his mother, Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay). Like his sister Isabella, Bo grew up thinking someone else was his dad: Caroline’s husband, Shawn Brady (Frank Parker).
Bo had been on Days of Our Lives for a couple of years when Victor was introduced, and a paternity twist was invented in a retcon to make Bo Victor’s son. Bo and Victor had a very troubled relationship. Victor tried to kill Bo a few times and even faked his own death, framing Bo for it. Peter Reckell has always played the role.
Bo’s Death on Days of Our Lives
Bo died from a brain tumor in 2015. However, in 2023, we found out Victor’s son Bo was still alive, kept in stasis by Victor’s arch-rival Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) crazy daughter, Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson). When Bo came out of his coma on the spin-off Beyond Salem, he was not right in the head and was very much focused on Victor.
On the flagship Days of Our Lives show, a very much alive Bo was brought over, and he went down a path of exploring Victor’s past. He was not himself at all, and when he threatened Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), his own son, Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer), shot him.
Bo remained in a coma for a couple of years and came out of it not too long ago. One of the hardest things his “fancy face,” Hope had to tell Bo was that while he was in the coma, his dad, Victor, died in a plane crash that had been rigged by the awful Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos).
Xander Kiriakis: The Late Paternity Reveal and His Quest for Victor’s Approval
Victor’s next oldest child is Xander, although the paternity reveal came out to Xander after Victor’s death. His dad, of course, had known for a while. Prior to the letter that revealed the truth, Xander thought Victor was his uncle, and he was another who was raised thinking somebody else was his dad. Xander thought he was the son of Titus Kiriakis.
That’s Victor’s brother who hasn’t been on the show ever, and Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas). Ten years ago, Xander came to Salem as a common thug, working for Victor. At one point, Victor demoted him to the estate gardener as a punishment. Xander always craved Victor’s approval, even though he thought he was his uncle and not his father. Xander never got Victor’s approval and was crushed that he would never get to know Victor as his dad.
Victor’s Secret on Days of Our Lives
We found out that Victor had known for a while that Xander was his son, which is why he left him Titan in the will. Victor planned to reveal this to Xander, reconcile with him, and work on their relationship when he got home. However, Victor’s plane was sabotaged, and he died unexpectedly.
Xander found out more when his mom, Fiona, came to Salem. She nearly killed Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) driving drunk, and Xandr said he never wanted to see Fiona again. Now, Xander has no parents around, neither Fiona nor Victor, which makes Xander very sad.
Philip Kiriakis – A Complicated Birth and Troubled Path to Titan Leadership
The fourth of Victor’s kids also had a very strange origin story. Philip Kiriakis is the only offspring that Victor has known and raised since birth, but his birth story is very complicated. Philip’s biological mother is Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), but his birth mother, the woman who gave birth to him, is Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel).
Vivian and Kate were both involved with Victor back in the day around the same time. Victor told Kate he wouldn’t remarry her unless she could give him a child. She wound up at a fertility clinic and made an embryo. Crazy Vivian stole the embryo from Kate and Victor and had it implanted in herself.
The Truth Revealed on DOOL
Initially, it looked like Philip was Vivian’s son with Victor, but the truth came out, and Kate got her boy back, raising Philip. Victor knew Philip was his from the start, which is partly why his youngest son is such a spoiled brat. Philip rarely met Victor’s expectations. He got deep into gambling debt and, at one point, was using Titan for money laundering.
He did have a military career where he had a heroic moment and wound up an amputee, a moment where he made something of himself, but then he went bad again. Philip most recently stole half of Xander’s inheritance in Titan, thanks to Vivian’s forgery skills. The truth is out to some extent, but Xander and Philip continue to work together and have kept that secret mostly hidden until now so it wouldn’t hurt the company. However, their trust as brothers was deeply damaged.
Alex Kiriakis – The Paternity Hoax and His True Kiriakis Lineage
We also have to give an honorable mention to a Kiriakis who was briefly believed to have been Victor’s son. From September 2023 until July 2024, almost a year later, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) was thought to be the son of Victor and Anjelica Devereaux (Judith Chapman). This was all based on a wicked scheme cooked up by Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) and Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos).
It involved faking a letter that Fiona had written to Victor revealing that her son, Alexander Kiriakis, was Victor’s son. The thing is, Xander and Alex both have the same full birth name: Alexander Kiriakis. So, all Theresa and Konstantin had to do was change the signature from Fiona over to Anjelica to carry off this scheme.
In the end, the truth came out right after Alex said, “I do” at his wedding to gold-digging Theresa. Alex was relieved to find out Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) really was his dad in the end and was happy to hand the reins of power over to the rightful heir of Victor, which is Xander. In the end, Victor had four biological children: one daughter, Isabella, and three sons, Bo, Xander, and Philip.
