The scene was set, on a chilly winter night on Friday, 25 July 2025 and MSSA’s female Protea Team for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Esports Title settled in to take on Namibia in a clash that would see the winning team confront the winner of the match between Madagascar and Mauritius – which Madagascar won convincingly.
The female Protea Team gave Namibia no quarter.
Not only did the female Protea Team whitewash the Namibian team, but the South African female Protea Team did not take a single loss. The victory was achieved through flawless strategy, and psychological superiority which was so effective that the South African female Protea Team avoided casualties altogether.
The team worked together as a single unit where every player more than competently fulfilled their duty and supported each other to the utmost of their ability.
It is a victory that will long be remembered, it was a perfect victory of which even Alexander the Great would have been envious.
