The OUTsurance Gun Run 2025 is set to take place in Cape Town on 13 and 14 September 2025, and we’ve got everything you need to plan ahead, from road closures to parking options.

Road ClosuresParking  Saturday, 13 September   Sunday, 14 September 

Starting and finishing in Mouille Point, this iconic annual event features something for everyone: the 21.1km Half-Marathon, 10km Road Race, 17km Trail Run, 5km Fun Run, and 5km Pet Walk. Whether you’re racing or cheering, here’s what you need to know: 

Road Closures

Motorists, residents, and runners in the Sea Point and Green Point areas are advised that certain roads will be closed or heavily congested throughout the weekend due to the event.

Parking  

Here are some of the parking options:  

Saturday, 13 September   

V&A Waterfront Parking: This is a short warm-up jog or walk to the start line on Vlei Road. 

Green Point A Track: Located opposite McDonald’s (no parking at McDonald’s) 

Western Boulevard  

Use only the designated parking areas (P12, P13, P14) for public access. 

Sunday, 14 September
