KCB Financial institution Kenya and Visa on Thursday introduced a partnership to introduce a Faucet-to-Telephone contactless cost service that may permit retailers to just accept card funds on NFC-enabled Android smartphones, eliminating the necessity for conventional point-of-sale terminals.

KCB stated the expertise is anticipated to chop the price of digital cost acceptance for small and medium-sized enterprises that always face excessive upfront bills to amass POS {hardware}.

“This collaboration with Visa brings to life a robust answer that provides each service provider the power to just accept digital funds utilizing only a smartphone,” stated Jane Isiaho, KCB Financial institution Kenya’s director of retail banking.
