Though Aphidoletes aphidimyza (Rondani) is a predator of aphids, its biocontrol efficacy relies upon largely on oviposition behaviour. Earlier research have proven that spider webs can entice A. aphidimyza and improve its oviposition. It has been hypothesized that intercourse pheromones from spider webs and A. aphidimyza itself might have an effect on its mating and oviposition, however this stays unconfirmed. In our research, we chosen (2R,7S)-diacetoxytridecane (intercourse pheromone of A. aphidimyza), (R)-3-hydroxybutyric acid (intercourse pheromone of Linyphia triangularis (Clerck)), and a mix of those pheromones (at a ten:1 focus ratio) to analyze their total response on A. aphidimyza when it comes to electroantennogram, behaviour, fecundity, attraction, and aphid management. Our outcomes indicated that these pheromones elicited antennal responses in A. aphidimyza. Our findings present proof for additional exploration of the connection between L. triangularis and A. aphidimyza.
