Orlando Pirates have been extremely busy this transfer window.

Orlando Pirates have been the busiest side in the PSL transfer window. Hands down.

So, they have now completed 23 transfer deals. Let’s take a look at all confirmed new Pirates players as well as all the Bucs players who have left Mayfair.

PIRATES CONFIRMED SIGNINGS

  • Sipho Mbule (Mamelodi Sundowns)
  • Yanela Mbuthuma (from Richards Bay)
  • Masindi Nemtajela (Marumo Gallants)
  • Tshepang Moremi (AmaZulu)
  • Nkosikhona Ndaba (Richards Bay)
  • Abdoulaye S Mariko (Djoliba AC)
  • Sinoxolo Kwayiba (Chippa United)
  • Tshepo Mashiloane (Baroka)
  • Sihle Nduli (Stellenbosch)
  • Oswin Appollis (Polokwane City)
  • Kamogelo Sebelebele (TS Galaxy)
  • Lebone Seema (TS Galaxy).

Pirates have signed more than a starting XI worth of players.

Interestingly, 11 out of their 12 signings are from PSL rivals. Meaning, Mariko is the only player signed from outside of South Africa. New head coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou signed Mariko from Malian side, Djoliba AC.

Meanwhile, Pirates have made some massive scoops from the likes of Mamelodi Sundowns (Mbule), Polokwane City (Appollis), AmaZulu (Moremi) and Stellenbosch SC (Nduli).

ALL CONFIRMED BUCS DEPARTURES

  • Innocent Maela
  • Miguel Timm
  • Paseka Mako (Kaizer Chiefs)
  • Thabiso Monyane (Kaizer Chiefs)
  • Phillip Ndlondlo
  • Monnapule Saleng (Orbit College)
  • Mohau Nkota (Al Ettifaq)
  • Azola Tshobeni (Chippa United)
  • Zakhele Lepasa (Unattached)
  • Yanga Madiba (Orbit College)
  • Thuso Molekeki (Orbit College)

Pirates have appointed Nkosinathi Sibisi as their new captain to replace Innocent Maela. He is set to usher in the new era of Bucs football.

Meanwhile, Mako and Monyane are now both Kaizer Chiefs players. Furthermore, Saleng’s loan move to Orbit College shocked the PSL community. He has been joined by TWO more Pirates players.

Nkota’s big-money move to Saudi Arabia was the other big move out of Mayfair.
