Paul Roos rallied to beat Affies, whereas there have been additionally notable victories for Paarl Boys’, Gray School, Gray Excessive and Jeppe.

After overturning an early deficit in Stellenbosch, an intercept strive by flyhalf Travis Pheiffer gave Paul Roos a 24-11 lead on the break.

Within the Japanese Cape, Gray Excessive beat Hudson Park 33-12, Kingswood crushed Cambridge 78-0, Pearson edged St Andrew’s School 22-17 and Framesby beat Selborne 24-15.

In Gauteng, Jeppe smashed St David’s Marist 62-14, KES beat St John’s 36-12, Garsfontein hammered Noordheuwel 41-3 and Pretoria Boys’ Excessive beat St Stithians School 31-24.

In KwaZulu-Natal, Westville Boys’ Excessive beat Maritzburg School 26-10.

In Bloemfontein, Gray School defeated Monument 31-15.
