Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mduduzi Shabalala has spoken about his delight after reaching 100 appearances for the Soweto giants.
Vilakazi made his one hundredth look for Amakhosi when he got here on as a second-half substitute of their 1-0 win over ZESCO United within the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
The attacking midfielder will make his 103rd look when Amakhosi tackle Stellenbosch FC within the opening spherical of the Nedbank Cup on Wednesday.
Shabalala admits that he was unaware that he was on verge of reaching this milestone for the membership.
“I’m so excited to succeed in this milestone. It hasn’t been a simple journey for me, loads of ups and downs,” Vilakazi advised his membership’s official web site.
“However I’m very glad my one hundredth sport got here at second for the crew and I hope to succeed in extra appearances for Amakhosi.
“Truly, I didn’t know I had reached my one hundredth look. I hadn’t actually thought of it.
“However I’m so grateful to the Chairman, the coaches for believing in me at such a younger age and giving me the chance and the assist.
“My ambition is to play many extra instances and rating loads of targets and win many trophies for this excellent Membership,” he stated.
