The South African Protea Team for the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Esports title having beaten five African teams in preparation for their 2025 bid to qualify for IESF’s World Esports Championships to be held later this year now faces off against the mighty Congo and powerful Namibia .
These two matches are the final two matches in the Southern African Regional Championships.
IESF has lead MSSA to believe that the winning team out of this clash between South Africa, Congo, and Namibia (being Group A) will go through and play against the winner of Group B (Madagascar, Mauritius, and Zimbabwe) on 23 July 2025. The winner of the Group A vs Group B match will advance on to IESF’s World Esports Championships – WEC25.
