The Kansas Metropolis Chiefs could also be getting the band again collectively.

With offensive coordinator Matt Nagy on an expiring contract and reportedly a finalist to be the Tennessee Titans’ subsequent head coach, Kansas Metropolis has reportedly requested an interview with its former OC Eric Bieniemy, now the Chicago Bears’ operating backs coach.

Bieniemy, 56, was the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator from 2018-22 after serving because the group’s operating backs coach from 2013-17. His first season as OC was Patrick Mahomes’ first season as beginning quarterback, and he helped lead Kansas Metropolis to Tremendous Bowl championships in his second season (2019) and last season (2022) within the position.

Bieniemy, who acquired head coach interviews however wasn’t employed, left to grow to be the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator of the Washington Commanders in 2023 — which afforded him play-calling alternatives that Kansas Metropolis didn’t underneath head coach Andy Reid.

He was UCLA’s assistant head coach/offensive coordinator in 2024 earlier than returning to the NFL this previous season with Chicago.

Kansas Metropolis’s 10-year playoff streak was snapped this season because the Chiefs (6-11) had their first shedding season since 2012, the 12 months earlier than Reid was employed.
