Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Denis Onyango feels proud to be representing South Africa on the biggest stage.

The Brazilians are the only team representing South Africa at the new edition of the Club World Cup.

The Tshwane giants will go head-to-head against Ulsan HD when the two sides meet at the Exploria Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

Onyango admits that he feels honoured to be playing in the first edition of the Club World Cup.

“The Sky is the Limit means giving it your absolute all on the pitch: leaving everything out there, playing a style of football that the fans love and that makes our continent proud,” Onyango said.

“We’re incredibly proud to be here, representing Africa and our families on the biggest stage.”
