Things to Do

Milnerton Lighthouse

The Milnerton Lighthouse at Woodbridge Island is one of Cape Town’s most photographed landmarks. Built in 1960, the lighthouse stands 21 metres tall and boasts striking views of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Although it is not open to the public, the surrounding area is ideal for scenic walks, photography, and watching the sunset.

Milnerton Golf Course

Milnerton Golf Course is an 18-hole, par 72, 6101 metre links-style course, offering a rewarding challenge for all golfers. After your game, relax at the clubhouse restaurant and take in some of the city’s best views.

Milnerton Flea Market

Set against Table Mountain, this outdoor market is open every Saturday and Sunday. One of the city’s oldest markets, you can browse antiques, collectibles, electronics, and household goods, with quirky finds at every turn. Food stalls are scattered throughout the market.

Paddocks Shopping Centre

Milnerton Waterpark

Table Bay Nature Reserve- Rietvlei Section

Lagoon Beach

The other beach is Lagoon Beach, known for its jaw-dropping Cape sunset. Find a spot to settle for a picnic or book a table at one of the beachfront restaurants for a front-row seat to the evening skies.

Milnerton Playhouse

Tucked just behind the library complex on Pienaar Road, the Milnerton Playhouse Theatre is an intimate venue that has played a key role in Cape Town’s amateur theatre scene since 1989.
