Mehli Mistry, whose reappointment to Tata Trusts was voted down by a majority, is known to have withdrawn the caveat to be heard, filed with the Charity Commissioner in Mumbai, sources stated.

Just a few days after his reappointment as trustee was rejected, Mistry had filed a caveat with the Maharashtra Charity Commissioner, in search of a listening to towards his removing by Tata Trusts. Mistry’s time period as trustee ended on October 28.

Nonetheless quickly after he determined to not problem his removing and in a letter to the Trusts chair, stated he had a accountability to make sure that Tata Trusts was not plunged into controversy and precipitating issues would trigger it irreparable hurt.

His transfer to withdraw the caveat follows this resolution.
