Zimbabwe’s Tourism Ministry has taken a big step to modernize the sector with the strategic appointment of latest management for 2 important establishments. Minister Barbara Rwodzi has named contemporary boards for the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) and the Mosi-Oa-Tunya Growth Firm, the state-owned entity chargeable for driving funding within the Victoria Falls Particular Financial Zone.

The brand new ZTA board will likely be chaired by skilled hotelier Farai Chimba, supported by hospitality veteran Lizzie Makwezwa as vice chair. The appointments carry collectively business leaders to reinforce the authority’s advertising and promotional methods, aligning its work with the objectives of the Nationwide Growth Technique 2.

For the Mosi-Oa-Tunya Growth Firm, Phineas Makombe, a civil engineer, has been appointed chairman. This board is tasked with a pivotal position: advancing high-value tourism infrastructure and attracting funding particularly throughout the iconic Victoria Falls space.

These management modifications sign a targeted push to strengthen institutional governance, enhance vacation spot advertising, and speed up the event of world-class tourism infrastructure throughout Zimbabwe.
