This led the Durban native to start out a non-profit organisation, Siphilisiwe Neighborhood Care, in 2020, to offer meals help to weak individuals dwelling on the streets.

A lifeline

One recipient, Jane Smith*, says she’s grateful to obtain help from the soup kitchen throughout such a troublesome time in her life.
